Insiders who purchased Rex International Holding Limited (SGX:5WH) shares in the past 12 months are unlikely to be deeply impacted by the stock's 20% decline over the past week. Even after accounting for the recent loss, the US$136.1k worth of stock purchased by them is now worth US$175.4k or in other words, their investment continues to give good returns.

Although we don't think shareholders should simply follow insider transactions, logic dictates you should pay some attention to whether insiders are buying or selling shares.

The Last 12 Months Of Insider Transactions At Rex International Holding

The insider Dan Broström made the biggest insider purchase in the last 12 months. That single transaction was for S$136k worth of shares at a price of S$0.14 each. Even though the purchase was made at a significantly lower price than the recent price (S$0.18), we still think insider buying is a positive. While it does suggest insiders consider the stock undervalued at lower prices, this transaction doesn't tell us much about what they think of current prices.
