Boeing (NYSE:BA) ticked higher by 0.2% after a report that the planemaker is exploring a sale of its Jeppesen navigation unit.

The company is working with an adviser to evaluate the sale of the Jeppesen unit, according to traders, who cited a Bloomberg report, which cited people familiar with the matter. The business could see more than $6 billion in a possible sale.

The provider of interactive flight plans may attract interest from financial sponsors as well as other companies, according to the report. A sales process for the unit may happen as soon as the first half of next year.

Boeing declined to comment to Bloomberg.
