TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - State-owned railway operator PT Kereta Api Indonesia (KAI) invites companies seeking to enhance their visibility within the LRT Jabodebek (Greater Jakarta Light Rail Transit) network to collaborate on a branding program that encompasses visual advertising and product placement across stations and trains. Moreover, this collaborative initiative presents an opportunity for business partners to leverage naming rights, thereby amplifying their brand exposure.

LRT Jabodebek's Public Relations Manager, Mahendro Trang Bawono, said in a press release received today, October 1, 2024, that the program is designed to optimize existing assets and generate new revenue streams beyond passenger services while elevating the quality of services offered to the public.

Participating brands can showcase their advertisements on trains and stations through the advertising program. These advertisements, strategically placed on trains and stations, offer a high frequency of exposure to a captive audience, ensuring that the brand message resonates with the target demographic.

To complement visual branding, brands can also market their products through product placement. The integration of products into vending machines located at stations serves to enhance sales potential.

In addition to visual elements, partners collaborating through naming rights can benefit from direct brand name mentions during every LRT Jabodebek journey. The station name associated with the brand partner is announced each time the train arrives at or departs from the station, providing a highly effective means of imprinting the brand partner in the minds of commuters.

Mahendro mentioned that LRT Jabodebek has already partnered with several companies, including Pancoran Bank BJB Station, Dukuh Atas BNI Station, and specific brand liveries.

The branding program offers collaborating partners the opportunity to capitalize on the substantial exposure afforded by LRT user mobility. Data indicates an average of 79,800 daily users on weekdays and 35,200 users on weekends throughout September.

Furthermore, the 18 LRT Jabodebek stations have established connectivity with various other modes of transportation, including Whoosh, KAI Commuter Line (KRL), TransJakarta, and other public transportation options, thereby expanding the reach for greater brand visibility.
