Models with lower price tags contributed more to Li Auto's monthly deliveries.
Li L6 contributed 49.37 percent of Li Auto deliveries in April.
Li Auto (NASDAQ: LI) reported April deliveries of 33,939 vehicles on May 1, without mentioning specific numbers for different models.
Now, local automotive media Yiche has shared data from the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) showing how different models fared.
Overall, the lower the price of a model, the higher the contribution to Li Auto's monthly deliveries.
Li Auto is currently offering five models -- Li L6, Li L7, Li L8, Li L9, and Li Mega -- of which the L series models are extended-range SUVs (sport utility vehicles), while the Li Mega is a pure electric MPV (multi-purpose vehicle) model.
Li L6 was the top-selling Li Auto model in April with 16,755 units delivered, although this was down 2.57 percent from 17,197 units in March.
Li L6 is the least expensive in Li Auto's lineup with a starting price of RMB 249,800 ($34,570), contributing 49.37 percent of Li Auto deliveries in April.
From January to April, Li L6 delivered 61,102 vehicles, contributing 48.19 percent of the 126,803 Li Auto deliveries in the same period.
Li L7 delivered 8,102 units in April, down 24.04 percent year-on-year and down 6.95 percent from March. The model contributed 23.87 percent of Li Auto deliveries in April.
In the January-April period, Li L7 delivered 29,085 units, 32.73 percent lower year-on-year, contributing 22.94 percent of Li Auto deliveries in the same period.
Li L8 delivered 5,178 units in April, up 2.84 percent year-on-year but down 1.84 percent from March. The model contributed 15.26 percent of Li Auto monthly deliveries.
In the January-April period, Li L8 delivered 18,118 units, down 30.17 percent year-on-year, contributing 14.29 percent of Li Auto deliveries in the same period.
Li L9 delivered 3,801 units in April, down 42.06 percent year-on-year and down 16.99 percent from March. The model contributed 11.20 percent of Li Auto monthly deliveries.
In the January-April period, Li L9 delivered 15,992 units, down 47.14 percent year-on-year, contributing 12.61 percent of Li Auto deliveries in the same period.
Li Mega delivered 103 units in April, down 91.00 percent year-on-year and down 88.76 percent from March.
In the January-April period, Li Mega delivered 2,507 units, contributing 1.98 percent of Li Auto deliveries in the same period.
Li Auto launched the updated Li Mega on April 23 and the updated L-series EREVs on May 8. Deliveries of the updated L-series began on May 9, and deliveries of the updated Li Mega are set to begin later this month.
